Established in 1994, Yamar has been developing unique DC-BUS multiplex power line communication [PLC] technology and semiconductors, targeting wires reduction, to save on weight, cost, and space wherever harness cables are used.

The devices meet existing protocols such as UART, LIN, CAN, SPI, DMX512 and I2C. Yamar engineers lead the LIN over DC powerline (DC-LIN) ISO 17987-8 standardization workgroup.
